High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi met with the President of the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICCB), Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, at the ICCB Secretariat on 3 August 2026. The meeting was also attended by other members of the ICCB Board.

The discussions focused on strengthening trade and economic cooperation between India and Bangladesh, with particular emphasis on the role of the private sector in fostering innovation, investment, and economic growth for the mutual interest and mutual benefit of both countries. The importance of deepening people-to-people ties and strengthening business-to-business engagement as essential pillars of the enduring India–Bangladesh partnership was also underscored.

হাই কমিশনার দিনেশ ত্রিবেদী ৩ আগস্ট ২০২৬-এ ইন্টারন্যাশনাল চেম্বার অব কমার্স বাংলাদেশ (আইসিসিবি)-এর সভাপতি জনাব মাহবুবুর রহমানের সাথে আইসিসিবি সচিবালয়ে সাক্ষাৎ করেন। এই সভায় আইসিসিবি বোর্ডের অন্যান্য সদস্যগণও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

আলোচনায় ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের মধ্যে বাণিজ্য ও অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতা আরও সুদৃঢ় করার ওপর আলোকপাত করা হয়, যেখানে উভয় দেশের পারস্পরিক আগ্রহ ও পারস্পরিক কল্যাণের লক্ষ্যে উদ্ভাবন, বিনিয়োগ ও অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধির প্রসারের জন্য বেসরকারি খাতের ভূমিকার ওপর বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়। ভারত-বাংলাদেশ দীর্ঘস্থায়ী অংশীদারিত্বের অপরিহার্য স্তম্ভ হিসেবে জনগণের মধ্যে সম্পর্ককে আরও গভীর করা এবং ব্যবসায়িক সম্পৃক্ততাকে আরও সুদৃঢ় করার গুরুত্বও তুলে ধরা হয়।
